Who we are

John Assadi

John Assadi has practiced US immigration law since 1988. He specializes in the representation of foreign nationals who are employees of multi-national corporations, international entertainers and athletes, scientists and other professionals. He has been interviewed about immigration issues by The New York Times, The Christian Science Monitor, and CBS News. He was recently Vice-Chairman of the Immigration and Nationality Law Committee of the American Bar Association and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Connecticut Bar Association.

Maria Ekström

Maria Ekström is a physical therapist and editor of FYSIO, The Newsletter for Physical Therapists. She obtained her physical therapy degree from Karolinska Institute in 1985. She also has a BS Degree in Health & Physical Education and an MS Degree in Epidemiology & Public Health from Yale University.

Timothy Todreas

Timothy Todreas holds an MA and a Ph.D. in Media Economics from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. He has published FYSIO, The Newsletter for Physical Therapists for the last decade. The newsletter now has over 7,000 readers in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. He served as U.S. Senator John Kerry's economic advisor and was formerly a consultant for McKinsey & Co., Inc. He also has a background in recruitment in the UK.

James Kennedy

James Kennedy earned his Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1997 and received his D.P.T. in Sports Medicine at the University of Saint Augustine. He has worked extensively in the field of Sports Medicine and Orthopedics. His area of specialty is the shoulder joint. He also serves as the U.S. editor for FYSIO, the Newsletter for Physical Therapists.
